In the case of a round-trip purchase, it applies to one leg only (outbound ticket or return ticket).

Trip cancellation applies only in cases of illness, death or serious accident, and you have up to 5 days from the start of the trip to call 800 24 90 157.

It is cancellable; this process requires the cancellation of Travel Tickets and Additional Coverage.

Where can I buy my assistance cover?

How long is Additional Coverage valid for?

You are covered from the start of the trip until its end. Funeral assistance and ambulance dispatch apply from 24 h before the trip until 24 h after the end of the trip.

*One event per round trip applies.

How do I activate Additional Coverage?

You must call 800 24 90 157 to activate Additional Coverage; remember to have your ticket to hand.

Does Additional Coverage apply on a round trip for both the outbound and return legs?

No, the assistance cover applies to one trip (leg) only; that is, you can only activate it on the route where you have an incident, in accordance with the cover purchased.

Example:
If a service from León to México Norte is purchased as a round trip and there was no setback on the León to México Norte trip (and therefore the cover was not used), it remains valid and will take effect on the return from México Norte to León, being valid for 5 days from the date of the return trip.

If I travel with my family, can I buy just one Additional Coverage?

No, you must purchase one for each seat purchased, as it is per person.

– In the case of a round-trip purchase, it applies to one leg only.
– Additional coverage is personal.

Can I cancel Additional Coverage?

Yes, you must cancel all of your tickets in full before your trip's departure time expires (if it is a round trip, before the time of the first service).

Is it compulsory to purchase Additional Coverage?

It is optional.

Can I buy my tickets in a single name or in the name of "family", for example: «Familia Pérez»?

No, each ticket must be personalised in the passenger's name so that the Additional Coverage can take effect.

Can I invoice Additional Coverage?

Yes, you can do it at https://www.facturaelectronicagfa.mx/, with the token that appears on the Additional Coverage ticket.

How long will it take for my claim to be paid?

A maximum of 15 calendar days once all documentation has been submitted to Sekura and once Management Solutions LLC has determined whether it is applicable in accordance with the product's terms and conditions.
